Hey again! This is Miri, player of Skye, bringing in my second character already. Say hello to Nico di Angelo from Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians / Heroes of Olympus book series. He will be entering into District 2 with a score of 9.

Nico's the 14 year old demigod son of Hades, Greek god of the underworld. He was born in the 1930s in Italy and displaced out of time with his sister by their dad after Zeus killed their mom. When he woke up in the present day he was a pretty happy kid until his sister died and he found out he was the son of a death god, and now it's just been aaaaaaaall downhill into grumpy angstville from there. He's really difficult to get along with, dislikes most people, and has a tendency to make most people believe they can't trust him, but is actually a giant soft-hearted nerdbaby deep down.

As a head's up, I've set up a permissions here for him for arenas where powers are restored, because among Nico's include the ability to sense other people's mortality, whether they've died, and how they've died. Since he's heading straight into the arena and we don't know what this arena will have in store, I'd appreciate it if you could take the time to fill out the questions there. Thanks!

Hi folks, Tipple here, player of Brainiac 5 and Hiccup, bringing in one perpetually cranky crown prince of the Fire Nation to District 1:



I'll be holding off on intro-ing Zuko until after my move next week since I'm about to slowatus, but once he pops in, you can expect him to make dramatic proclamations about honor and ninja around everywhere.

Outside the arena, he's going to be taking on any students who don't know how to fight that want to learn and is going to be the meanest drill sergeant ever and whip them into shape, probably co-training with Aang (who is most likely going to reward them with stickers for their trouble). Since his backstory deals heavily with pretty severe child abuse and it would be kind of hard to avoid having it come up on occasion, please let me know if the subject makes you uncomfortable and I can avoid tagging. I have a screened opt-out post up in his journal for it. Normally, I'd just offer to avoid the subject but his backstory with his dad is a big driving part of the character that'd come up if anyone even so much as mentions his scar, so it'd be kind of tough since it's on his thoughts a lot and shaped a lot of who he is. I figure it'd be better just to avoid tagging since I have other characters I could toss at you.

On another note, I will be slowatusing this week and next week for moving. I should be able to still tag on occasion, especially since our electric and internet will be set up first day we're there but it'll be definitely slow. After that, I'll be free and clear for RP though so I should be back with a vengeance.
