The winners might notice their mentors and escorts are tense, but they don't see why for a few days. Nothing really is mentioned for a few days, period.

Then, a few days later they walk into their rooms to find a gift basket.

Inside are some clearly sponsored gifts: champagne from a certain restaurant, chocolates from the local confectioner, custom jewelry from the newest jewelry, various certificates for free meals and services.

Tucked into the basket is a neatly written card.
