Howdy-doo there, buckaroos!

This is Lina! The player of Doc Holiday (Generator Rex) who dropped Gambit about a week or so ago with the promise of fresh blood to come soon. I am quick to make good on my promises.

This here is Gabriel from Supernatural. You may know him as the Trickster or Loki or the Messenger of God or whatever floats your boat The Holy Pregnancy Test. He's legit the Archangel Gabriel from Christian/Islamic/Hebrew lore and he's smug about it, too.

Don't worry, his powers are officially nerfed to Hell and back. For those of you familiar with the canon, he does still have his Grace, it's just turned down really low. For obvious reasons, I'm going to also say that he can't hear any prayers either, for the time being. It sort of counts as a power, after all.

He's going to be shacking up with D11, so enjoy that. I still haven't made up my mind if he's going to be around for the crowning, since it'll be up tomorrow morning. More likely than not, I'll throw him in there and put up a slightly backdated intro log to go with it. Either way, he'll be around very soon.

My plurk is [plurk.com profile] linatrinch in case one of you haven't added me yet. Also, here is his HMD, if anyone has any problems with him or me or you just want to post a shifty eyed "hi rebuttle" or whatevs. It's all good.

SEE YOU SOON!

Why hello there! I'm Lisa, a newcomer to The Games.

I'm bringing in the character Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV and Dissidia 012. He's a brooding tough guy, and like many video game characters, pretty obsessed with fighting. He comes from the very end of FFIV when he's gone off to the mountains to mope and angst train himself to be stronger. He also has Dissidia history as well, and comes in from the end of that game. He'll be so thrilled to end up in more endless cycles of fighting.

Kain has this odd balance of noble, honorable warrior and... dark, jerk-ish traitor. He may in fact stab people in the back if circumstances lead to it. I'm looking forward to making CR for him, both friends and bitter, bitter enemies/rivals.

He's a tribute, and his district is 11.

I'm [plurk.com profile] vorpal on plurk, feel free to add me if you'd like. I'm always up for plotting and can't wait to throw Kain into the midst of everything!

The Crowning post is up! Your characters are sharing a party dream, which they will all remember when they wake. Feel free to go a little nuts with the setting, as it is a dream - logic can be played fast and loose, time can repeat itself, language doesn't have to make perfect sense, and minor things about the setting can change at your whim.

For those characters receiving secrets, I'll put NPC tags around of peacekeepers and Escorts talking. Your character will be the only one to hear it, but they are free to do with the information what they wish.

For those characters suffering the bad side effects, they'll be in a shared nightmare, which I encourage you to play with to your heart's content. Feel free to run wild with the setting to torment your Tribute. Within about an hour, your Tribute in the nightmare will reach a state of lucid dreaming, where they find some control of the setting and can start to alter the dream, for themselves and others, to their wishes. They will not be able to contact the Tributes back at the normal party once they enter the nightmare.

If your character dies in the dream, they simply wake up. This is a typical party log set-up, so start your own subthreads and tag around (remember that making a subthread is 5 points, tagging another subthread is 10 points, and new CR is 25 points). Other questions go here!
