As some of you know, my work this summer involves some really emotionally-draining material, and as such I've been struggling lately to feel up to playing out death games until the late hours of the night most days, because I get home and just don't want to look at murder-related things. My summer job ends next week, but then I'll be doing a lot of traveling and then job interviews.

I've been trying to convince myself I'm going to get back in the swing of things, but after something like two weeks now of feeling chronically drained and behind, I have to just put up my hands and admit that for the foreseeable future, I will be slow as balls and stop pressuring myself about it.

What this means is that I'll probably be tagging once or twice a week per thread if that. Thank you all for your patience. I understand if you want to wrap up threads but I'd prefer to keep them going if you do, because I will fully commit to backtagging and should be well back into the swing of things when I have two weeks off starting August 17th. I'll still be doing opens and plot stuff, but a lot of it will just be in slow-motion compared to the usual pace.

Priorities will be going to mod duties and to death/torture logs. Affects Howard ([personal profile] iselldrugstothecommunity), Eva ([personal profile] vissernone), Punchy ([personal profile] nunpunching), Penny ([personal profile] fearisinthemind) and Venus (this account).

Sometime next week, Celebrus will be hosting a date auction! This will be in the vein of date auction memes, and we hope that you will use it to build some interesting/awkward/dreadful CR. There will, however, be other things afoot in the Capitol leading up to the event itself, so don't think this will all just be cushy fluff. It won't be.

Any Tribute may be auctioned, and any Capitol denizen or Tribute may bid. Tributes can be signed up by someone else, as long as there's OOC consent.

As a note, this plot has nothing to do with the more unseemly/triggery elements of the Capitol, particularly the bidding system on the Victors.
