Hi, I'm Garshil (and if you know where that's from do please talk to me). I'm bringing in Nasir from Spartacus, the Starz tv series. It's about the Third Servile War when Spartacus decided to kill a bunch of Romans and free some slaves. Nasir is one of those freed slaves and was personally trained by Spartacus (and some other ex gladiators) and is very, very good at killing. And now he's a Distrcit 2 tribute. Yay!

He comes from the end of the series so there's a few spoilers there that I can't avoid but it's a pretty obscure series anyway. Also most of the spoilers are given away with the name of the series: Spartacus. It's only been 2,000 years.

As a slave, Nasir was subject to sexual abuse so be aware that is in his history but it is unlikely to come up. If it looks like it might I'll send you a PM asking if you're O.K. with this and if not steer the subject away. Nasir doesn't like to dwell on what happened in his past life though so he likely won't say much beyond "yeah, I did stuff I didn't like. It sucked."

Also if you're interested in the canon or want to read more about it, just be aware that it is full of nudity, swearing, and lots of gore, as well as rape and suicide. If you have questions about him and don't want to deal with risking seeing that (his wiki article has some blood and the others are not gore free), then I'm happy to talk to you. I'm also happy to talk to you anyway.

Since he's from thousands of years in the past, I'm handwaving that one of his mentors explained most things but he'll still have a difficult time adjusting. I would love to find someone he can spar with and possibly be way too violent with in his anger if anyone is interested in that.

Nasir will be pissed as hell and wanting to kill the people he views as having enslaved him again. So yes, please. He's interested in all the rebellions when he's not moping over missing his boyfriend.

And yeah, I imagine he and Sherlock will interact. Nasir trained the new recruits so he might look at Sherlock fighting and go "honey, no."
