Hey guys!
So my hiatus ended up being a lot longer than I thought, but it's time for me to come back!
A few things regarding my characters. The third one comes with trigger warnings for dub/non-con my loves, so tread carefully! Here we go:
1 - I'm dropping Dan. I've really enjoyed his CR, but I'm just not sure what to do with him so it's better to say he's been reassigned to the Districts again and send him the way that the Comedian went.
2 - Cinna has held himself up in his apartment, basically. There's rumors he has been working on a fashion line that will be available to the public. He's only been seeing his Tributes and his Stylist/prep team since they've started coming back from the Arena though, and has been avoiding most nonessential public appearances.
3 - Okay. Here's the big one that comes with trigger warnings, so please don't read if that's going to bother you. I'll put a note when the trigger ends and putting it under a cut to save you from reading it too.
Blaine was in the Arena, and died really early. Then, he was swifted away to have a private vacation with a sponsor. So... yeah. All of the things that come with that happened to him while he was away. This is something that I've discussed with mods. It was one of the suggestions they came me to explain his absence and I'm going to go ahead and go with it. I'm taking this very seriously though, so if your character whats to find out and help him deal with it, let me know and we can plan. Otherwise, he's not likely to talk about it with anyone. If your character noticed he was gone for a bit, then know that if they asked his mentor or escort they probably would have told them he was still in the Capitol, just not at the Tower. It's up to you if your character would know what that means or not.
Just so you all know, I'm not planning on writing any details about what happened in prose that isn't already planned out. Period. So you don't have to worry about being triggered just by interacting with him and I'll be labeling everything as we go, but if you still want to doubley make sure that you never, ever get wind of the details, let me know and I'll make a mental note to have him not even act weird around your characters.
Luckily, Blaine is really, really, really good at hiding things so he'll just be doing that a lot.

So in general I've still been mostly skimming the game's posts while I was gone, but if there's anything you guys feel my characters should know, please tell me! Thanks!

Finding the hall of fallen tributes Sandy meant to honor Javert and Riddick for being the first tributes to help her by wearing Javerts cape from Disneyland [orange] and Riddicks goggles [too tinted to see out of]
She was a victim of the initiates nightmare powers, but after he finished scaring her half to death he hinted to her about what information he'd learned about district 13 and the resistance.
After that Pruna nearly killed Sandy, pouncing on her because of her orange cape. Then they found out the masks gave super powers, and unfortunately rip up your face. This was the first of Sandy's mask related sounds.
They forged a tentative alliance with the new girl Max after she too admonished Sandy for the stupid cape. Sandy put the cape away after that.
We had some misadventures where they tried to steal some food only to almost get killed by Shep. Shep let them go.
Sandy met Homura, Homura felt bad for her and gave her a bag of bombs.
The girls tried to mug one of Max's allies, she chased them off.
Some rescued the girls from the volcano eruption, Sandy wearing another mask saved her but more face ripping.
At the gun run Sandy was stabbed by Max. Sandy put on another mask to defend herself but Max broke off her stone arm. Pruna shot Max with a shot gun.
Sandy played possum to attract Danny, Pruna killed Danny.
Mindy found them, took Sandy hostage to encourage Pruna to fight her. They fought against Sandy's begging and Mindy won. This apparent betrayal and the death of Pruna messed Sandy up.
Sandy was fueled by the aggression of multiple mask usage and sought out Mindy for revenge. She beat Mindy pretty soundly, could have killed her but she hesitated, and at the last minute opted to blow herself up with the bombs hopefully taking out. Mindy, but refusing to play the games the way Mindy was trying to encourage her to.
Ultimately this arena was a series of bad calls, bad luck and lots of Sandy's face getting ripped off. She's left feeling defensive, confused, and sad but determined to keep going.

Oh Sandy. Just... just all of the hugs.
Cinna is going to ask her what she wants to do with her face this round of costumes. Like, if she'd rather have make up or not or whatever. He'll totally just causally ask her opinion and not make it a big thing about what happened to her.

She is concerned on a number of levels about the resistance, her moral compass, her weakness and if the allies she's made can really be trusted outside of Pruna, Effie, Cinna, Peeta and Katniss.

Oh that just makes me want to hug her so much.
And yeah, her face will be normal but he still isn't sure if she'd want a lot of crap on it. So he'd ask, but do it in a way that it wasn't clear that he was thinking that, just to make sure she was okay without crowding her with his concern.

... well I don't know. Something. I have it handwaved that Ian has been bidded on, so he will probably guess pretty quickly. And then try and give Blaine drugs to deal with it (because thats how hes dealing with it) and I can invisage it being a bit of a mess really. But he really would be trying to help. I was going to reply to your network post but we could always have Ian coming to find him and doing an actual post if you liked?
ON to nicer less difficult subject matter
Pruna has a duck, because Effie decided that that was a good way to make her relatable. so Cinna should meet the duck. She also may need help in not assassinating the latest victor.

Oh Ian. It's a good thing that Blaine fucking adores you. He's so going to understand that Ian is trying to help.
And yes. Cinna will do the things. I'm going to make an open post with him sometime coming up this week and it will include an apologize to the Tributes for him not being around. We can have him meet the duck then?
