This is Max Guevara, but not that old grandma Max that is a mentor, this is a shiny new Max who just escaped Manticore and so has zero experience with the real world. Also, this Max has no problems hunting you down and killing you because that's how Manticore kids roll. For those that don't know, she is from a show called Dark Angel that was killed by Fox (what show hasn't been killed by Fox?), but specifically she is pre-series. I use a tie-in book for some inner Max thoughts/personality since we didn't really get too deep of an in site of who she was during her childhood.

I'm Stephanie and I've been here before but left in a blaze of glory and glitter. Whoopwhoop.

She's living it up in District 11 even though she has no clue as to what a farm/orchard is. Hope ta kill ya later!!

Hi I'm Tipple! I play Brainiac 5 here from DC Comics and Guy Crood from The Croods.

omg Brainy's pretending to be a villain right now because he's going to do secret hero stuff and doesn't want anyone to suspect that he, like, has a soul or something but I think he might reach out to Max anyway to be all nice and stuff.

He wasn't a child soldier but he's kind of a mutant supersmart person descended from a supervillain so his family line was basically considered horrible freaks that needed to be controlled and treated as state property. He was raised in horrible sterile circumstances and forced to work for the public interest for his whole childhood, sort of like a much more sciencey version of what the Manticore kids were.

So even despite the evil act I think he'd feel compelled to reach out to Max to try to keep an eye on her. Poor thing. :(

Well let's see there's original Legion which led into the Five Years Later storyline, post zero hour reboot, threeboot, and rebooted original recipe with redone origin stories and stuff...

...which is to say, don't worry, even hardcore legion fans can barely keep track of them all, either. Generally, it seems like the Legion continuities are considered to be some of the absolute most convoluted, reboot and retcon-riddled continuities in DC.
