Hello everyone! I'm Krystal and I'm bringing in Carlos from Welcome to Night Vale as a Tribute!

He is a scientist.

That is the most important thing to know about him.

No, seriously. He will take any chance he gets to remind you that he is a scientist. It's kind of an addiction, honestly. An addiction to science.

His hair is perfect.

All the time.

Even when he's being torn apart by muttations. There is no bad angle.

There. That's basically all you need to know about Carlos. He's coming in from his canon where constant surveillance is a given and you almost never come back to life/existence/sanity from the horrible things that happen, so this is actually going to be less stressful than what Carlos is used to. 8D His permissions post is here and has a link to his full app + HMD post.

Anyway, I'm open to pretty much any kind of CR -- I love negative CR and would love to see Carlos make some enemies. But I'd also like him to have friends, science bros especially, and anyone who's obviously inhuman will catch his interest for sure. Also, once he figures out how mundanely dystopian this place is, he'll be interested in getting involved to change it. But that's down the line.

Well thanks to some creative experiments from the Capitol (RE: Horrible torture) he's been turned back into a human for the time being.

But the plan is to have him transform back at some point in the arena, and when he gets back to the Capitol post arena he'll be rocky again. So they can have a nice long awkward talk about it then~

Just be delicate about it science boy. Orc has a nasty temper.

Hello, I'm Tipple and I play a prehistoric nomad dude named Guy Crood from The Croods and this guy here, Brainiac 5 from DC Comics who is a hero but plans to do some secret hero stuff so he's taking on a selfish not-rocking-the-boat villain persona to hide the fact he's from an overpowered superteam that overthrew their own government (when it got all corrupt) like 2 or 3 times in the last six years.

I read the test drive thread he had with Invisible Kid and I really like the idea of what Brainiac is doing. It looks like a really fun plot, and I love characters who pretend to be bad for the greater good.

Awesome. Carlos, it looks like, will be hacking the PA system at one point but mostly holing up in the planetarium as long as he can, sneaking out to get food. They could totally bump into each other.

Not for long. Carlos plans to light most of it up except for a section he's hiding in. He knows better than to be in a dark, open room with multiple doors.

But Carlos will be sneaking out of it in the dark, trying to minimize his chances of being caught, so he could definitely run into Some then, if the planetarium is too bright.

HI I have heard nothing but great things about your Enjolras! Les Mis is one of those sleeping fandoms of mine -- I go through long periods where I'm into other things, and then once every few years I get smacked in the face again by how much I love it.

I am so down for this CR. Carlos will be super excited to meet a dude from the past, and also he hasn't been developed past caring about Night Vale's hilariously totalitarian government yet. I'd love for him to try to explain the City Council and the Sheriff's Secret Police to Enjolras.

They can both be perfect in face and form together, talking intelligently about things, and meanwhile in a 20 mile radius of this event bodices will be ripping and men will be turning gay. It will be amazing, the end.
