Inside The Arena.

Oh emotions and tensions seem to be running as high as ever as all the very best Hunger Games do. The triumph, the terror, the heartbreak! It's always hard to know who much tension a relationship can withstand with so many dangerous, stressful and downright life-staking obstacles at hand.

But as the good saying goes; 'tis better to loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

That's why I myself always root for the crafty ones. You always know what you're going to get with a cold trained killer! No heartbreak; just good fun entertainment! And I do have to say that the body count is finally starting to add up. From the look of things, tributes might even be getting a little more help from the arena.

Just about as soon as darkness fell tonight, the searchlights came on. From the nearest steel beam in relation to each tribute, a searchlight will follow each one, pin-pointing their location with a beam of light. Searchlights will follow each tribute for the next three days, but will only come on at night. Searchlights are directed from any point along the nearest 108-foot sonic fence posts. They cannot be tampered with. The lights are triggered by the tributes themselves and will only come on if a tribute is nearby.



Steadily the arena has been shrinking. If it continues at its current rate, the water may eventually divide the arena in two.

Life In The Capitol.

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Center Plaza tonight looks to be as spectacular as ever. Flown in straight from District 7 this morning, the 47-foot tall northern white pine was decorated by a combined effort of 3 of this season's hottest interior designers and their staff.

Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will begin at sundown and I hear it's all you can eat and drink. It's certain to be a grand and glorious time!

Harley Quinn / Orc Need to die this week

Harley: Is still on the hunt and now she's been hosed with Raptor pheromones so wherever she goes she's trailing a pack of raptors behind her. This calls for hit and run tactics she figures so she's trying to use the raptors to eat the other tributes. She also still has a razor boomerang, poison darts, a knife, and fire starting gear.

Orc: Is on a furious rampage because Howard is gone so he's going to be ripping up everything in his path to try and find Aunamee. Dare to get in his way? I need someone to try and kill him. If not he'll just get depressed and walk into the acid sea.

Does anybody need killing? He's not going to murder someone in cold blood, but we could maybe work out a defense kind of thing.

Ellie is still alive! And now that she's met up with Wyatt, she has knives.

She is a ferocious little half starved thing and she will not hesitate to kill if she's scared, so if you want your tributes to go by fourteen year old girl with a knife, let me know!

Joan Watson bites the dust!

I am terribly behind on the arena, but I'd like to set something up for Joan's death. She went out via snake last arena, so I'd like to have somebody kill her this time. She won't attack anybody, so maybe she accidentally startles someone, or is caught stealing food, or is murdered in cold blood. Any takers?

Julian will not be killing anyone if he can help it--he's completely unarmed and doesn't have any supplies, but he's not completely starving yet due to being thrown in so late + Augment resilience woo.

He will, however, offer medical assistance to anyone who needs it, as much as he can. Which...isn't much.

It's time for Lin to die! :D I have no plans right now so whoever wants to kill her can go for it. She's weak and starving, but lord knows she still has sheer desperation and a fight left in her. Any ideas?

Also, if someone needs killing before she goes, please let me know - Lin can be a bloodthirsty girl when she's at the end of her rope and I haven't had the chance to let her kill anyone off since she got here. It'd be really great! :D
