Mentors In The Arena!?

We here in the Capitol understand that it is sometimes difficult for our mentors to take a backseat to the hype and the fame of the Hunger Games. Some yearn for a chance to shine once again, and so we have decided to change up the mix a little bit!

FOR ARENA O8 Mentors (whether native or not) can participate in this upcoming arena. HOWEVER there are some rules:

➳ Rule #1.) The Capitol will be forcing your character to pretend they want to participate. They do not *actually* have to want this, but their public face must act about it as if this is what they really want to do, that they missed getting in on the action, etc.

There will be an opportunity for them down the line to be truthful about it, but you'll need to keep them lying for awhile if you want in.

➳Rule #2.) They are not "coming back to life" in the way the other Tributes are. The Capitol is planning (hoping) to just swoop in and grab them right before their injuries are too critical to save, and then patch them back up a la 75% dead Peeta in the first book.

This means that damage can be lasting, so if you want that, go for it. If you do not, don't let them have a leg bitten clean off when they "die." It will also mean that, although OOC their living is promised, in character they would be fully aware they might die for good.

ICly the Capitol is tapping people to be put back in arena, so if you need help OOCly justifying them going in or not going in, we can work with you.

IMPORTANT: If you would like your mentor to participate in the next arena you MUST reply to this post so your character can be added to the list of tributes for Arena 08!

Also will they be coming in for cornucopia or will they be late drops?

You can go either way, thought the Capitol will be pretending it's that same. (I know you wanted Max's leg lost for good, so if you want it to stay that way, they can)
