Arena Update.

Great Spirits
All Tributes in the Arena this week will be treated to a spectacular light show every evening. Beginning on Friday night at sunset, the skies will light up with the Northern Lights, beautiful green, pink, and white flashes in the sky. These bolts of color start out benign, but they won't stay that way forever.

Lights
Saturday's aurora show will be a lot less natural than Friday's. The lights in the sky will seem to appear directly over Tributes, wherever they are hiding in the Arena. This effect likely won't be obvious at first, but this phenomenon will recur each night on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, becoming brighter and more obvious with each successive evening. Keen eyed hunters may realize by Monday or Tuesday night that the Northern Lights are beacons telling the exact locations of Tributes no matter where they are or where they go and can use these spotlights in the sky to track down and hunt each other at night.

Champagne Supernova
On Wednesday evening, the auroras do not show up as expected. Instead the sky will light up with a meteor shower. At first, the shooting stars will create a charming display of lights and color, but the situation will soon escalate out of control as massive meteors will rain down on the Arena, causing a fire in the pine forest. The space rocks may even strike an unlucky Tribute or two.

Disco Inferno
The fire in the pine forest will start out on a very small scale before spreading through both forests, both meadows, and the wildflowers. All vegetation in the arena is going to be consumed by Friday morning, leaving the charred, blackened ash wasteland. The fires will seem to chase people down specifically, following targets throughout the arena in unrelenting pursuit. The fires are difficult to outrun, however the fires will not cross the river and the pond has thawed sufficiently enough to provide a haven as well (but remember, the pond is infested with Nessies.)

NICK is still alive and he still has a gun and bullets for using. He doesn't need a motive to murder, he'll shoot you because he wants to go home and have a shower.

THOR is brainwashed and aggressive, I'm happy to have him murder people and if you'd like a hand in murdering HIM feel free to suggest it. I might be fussy with what direction I go with here.

Ideally, I'd like for her to have a run-in with the fire (I believe Courfeyrac will be dying in said fire). A bit of smoke inhalation and the loss of an ally would both weaken her and make her more confrontational.

Tom is up to kill you guys! He's marginally injured but strong, armed with a knife and a cudgel (his favorite!). He'll actively be hunting for victims.

Feferi might still have a few bullets left, as well as a knife for all your killing needs! Other than that, she will be avoiding meteors (not again >38I) and probably sticking close to bodies of water, as potential escape routes + avoiding the fire.

I kind of like the idea of the big fire chasing roland into the river and someone coming across him while he's all wet and cold and trying to decide if it's worth it to take them off and be naked for a while just so they'll dry faster.

Other than that, if anyone wants to find him when the lights are following them around I'm game for a fight or whatever else.

Since he and Aang won that thing and won't get rolled until (I think?) the final week he might have a shot at winning - I'm not sure whether I want him to, so I should probably kill him some time soonish, but I kind of want to see the rest of what's going to happen in the arena. So. If anyone particularly wants to kill him (bonus if he dies in some embarrassing way and/or by falling) I... might be game?

He's still got fishing hooks and improvised fishing line, he can help people catch prehistoric fish and shit. And he has lots of first aid stuff he hasn't used. Anything anyone wants to do with that or anything else, I'm up for it.

Jet

Jet's continuing on even though he's half given up already. He's been stuck in the caves since Thursday and ICly won't be escaping until Sunday, so while the lights will still be shining over his cave, good luck getting to him.

Once he's out, he'll likely be hanging out near the iceburg/caves/on that shore and on the immediate other side of the river, so that's where he'll be escaping to when shit hits the fan.

I don't have any immediate plans for him past the cave escape, but I'm open to whatever. He's not wholly there since he's been trapped with two of his worst fears for several days and while he isn't likely to actively hunt someone down, he will lash out at anyone who comes too close that he doesn't trust or if someone startles him; he's still got a knife and a very sharp rock which have both proven lethal so far.

I'm thinking impaled or shot after a chase. Those lights are going to make him paranoid as hell, so he won't be getting much sleep. I can't imagine that sleep-deprivation is going to help him be stealthy, after all.

Cool! Brock doesn't have a gun or anything, but he has a knife and is otherwise pretty good at improvising weapons out of the environment, so impalement could very easily be a thing. And I love threading out chase scenes.

The only thing is that he's not actively hunting people down, so there would have to be some sort of impetus -- Garrett trying to steal from Brock or doing anything that Brock could perceive as being a threat, basically. The lights will be making him paranoid as well, so it'll be very easy for him to look at something innocuous and think it's a danger to him.

Felicity is armed to the teeth now, with knives, a bow and tons of arrows, a machete, and an axe taken from the caves. She's hunkered down and at this point she's ready to kill as necessary. She's not vicious, but she's also done this song and dance a few times, so if you need a mercy kill or something, I'd love to get in on that!

Nick (TWDG)

Nick's death plans are in the works but I definitely want Nick to come back as a lurker/walker/ZOMBIEEE in this arena and actually be able to get a bite out of someone...and also for someone to put him down too. That can be done by the same person if they don't mind their character succumbing to the infection and turning themselves! |D

There are a lot of ways the zombie encounter can be done~ I am very interested in hearing any suggestions. Also Nick will be very, very sorry.

last call for Aragorn Arena stuff + Calling the Dragon Age cast

Okay, so with Arwen dying, Aragorn is going to nope out himself, but before he does that, he'd like to give his gear to someone. He's got a tiger pelt, a bunch of warm clothes, a spear, a couple bows and arrows, and some canned cheese he couldn't figure out how to open. It's pretty sweet loot.

He was told earlier in the Arena that Maxwell's people were camped out at the foot of the mountains. Are any of you all still there? If you are, he'll be looking for you, to give you all of his stuff.
