Arena Update.
Snow Is Falling
This time it's for real. Friday evening will see the sky turn dark grey, and with the darkness comes the snow. The snowfall is constant and heavy for the next 48 hours straight. Ultimately, once it lets up, the Arena will be covered in three feet of snow in some places, with more accumulation near the mountains and hills. The wildlife has essentially vanished for this period, meaning hunting is out of the question. It's not great for TV, exactly, but these next 48 hours may be the last bit of peace for some of our darling Tributes...
Animals
You didn't think they'd stay away forever, did you? In the pre-dawn hours of Monday, Tributes who've taken shelter in the forests may hear the distinctive and frightening sounds of big cats on the prowl. And we're not talking lions or cheetahs here, folks. We're talking Smilodons. These predators are vicious and they are starving and their preferred prey, the wooly mammoth, is nowhere to be found. They can and will attack Tributes unprovoked. However, there is also a prize for those Tributes willing to challenge the sabertooth cats and win.
You have until 1159pm Eastern time on Monday to sign-up to battle the sabertooth tigers. Those who have signed up will be rolled with the following odds: 25% chance of death (no buy out), 25% chance of injury (can be treated with medical supplies), 50% chance of walking away relatively unharmed! And those of you who leave the fight alive will earn a FREE PARACHUTE OF SUPPLIES! If you successfully face down the Smilodons, the sponsors at home will give you the gift of your choice! You get to choose from the following options:
1 - One week supply of fresh food & water, a fire starting kit with kerosene lantern, deluxe medical supply kit, a fresh change of clothing (includes underwear & socks), and one sleeping bag.
2 - One week supply of fresh food & water, one sleeping bag, and one 16 inch machete.
3 - One lever action .22 magnum rifle with two boxes of bullets.
All options will arrive in a waterproof backpack with the Tribute's name embroidered on it. There will be a thread for sign-ups below.
Just What I Needed
The snow begins to fall again on Thursday, covering up some but not all of the bloodshed from the battles with the Smilodons. Along with the snowfall, each surviving Tribute will receive a parachute note with the following message:
~*~*Tell the folks watching at home what would make you feel all warm & fuzzy inside! Smile for the camera & show us you love us! If you do, you'll get a treat!*~*~
The note instructs the Tributes to verbally indicate what they would like to receive for Valentine's Day next week. Next week, those specially requested items will be available for purchase as parachute gifts in the Arena, however the Gamemakers reserve the right to modify the presents should any of them be deemed too excessive (for example: requesting a grenade launcher will likely earn the Tribute a GI Joe action figure with a plastic grenade launcher.)
In order to have your gift listed for next week's death roll, you must reply to the appropriate sign-up thread by Wednesday at 1159pm Eastern time.

By our [always accurate and never at all leaked from inside sources] calculations, the above tributes are presently at the most risk of death. If not sponsored by the end of the week, these tributes will meet their untimely and quite possibly brutal end. Any and all interested sponsors, please submit your payment of 200 Credits to our main office by no later than close of business Friday.

We would like to remind you however, that saving someone from the dark grip of death isn't the only thing our sponsorship program offers. We have other items available. And remember! Get these items while they're hot. You won't see prices this low for the rest of this arena!
And as an additional reminder, you may only spend credits which were earned before January 1st, 2015 (aka LAST activity cycle!) Those characters who were accepted after January 1st have 100 default credits to spend however they like!

Aang and Bruce Banner
Now, for this week's plans:
Aang is less than five feet tall. Thus, he's going to be dismayed when he first sees snow that's over three feet tall. Then he's going to notice that he's small enough to tunnel through it, and the tunnels will be relatively warm because snow is an insulator. He has a good store of berries, eggs, and other vegetarian stuff to keep him alive (although he'll be losing a lot of weight this arena).
People can come across one of his tunnels, but he'll be mostly reinforcing and insulating his cave with snow and ice and staying there. If anyone not aggressive comes across him, he'll even offer them a spot by his fire and some rationed food. If someone aggressive comes across him, he will stick them with a spear covered in poison oak to make them leave, but he will do his damndest to not kill anyone.
Bruce can't tunnel like Aang can, but he's still using snow to insulate things and is going to stick close to his cast in the caves. That said, he'll probably wander out to investigate what's going on in the arena and check to see if his traps managed to catch any animals before they all left, so he's still open for interaction. If someone approaches him intending to attack, he does not have Aang's moral compunctions and he'll kill to defend himself if he has to.

Aang can tell her stories about the Water Tribes too for fun and to inspire her with different methods of survival in the north and south poles. By the look of things, they will need all the wisdom they can get.

Plotting and a quick update
Leo is still earning credits so he'll be spending his own 100 on his Tributes as soon as I finish his new balances. He'll be
in hellStaff Retreat if you need him.I'm also using this as a head's up that because the CPA test is February 13th, I will gradually slow down in my tags until then, to make time for studying and medical appointments.
Sandy Marko: Looking for Inquisition characters
She doesn't actually know about the Inquisition and she hasn't met any of them yet but Shepard wanted to steer her towards them so does anyone want to volunteer to meet up with this scrappy little troublemaker?
