HI GUYS! My name is Bii and I'm bringing you this week's other new Homestuck character: Karkat Vantas. Like Psiioniic, Signless, and Volanz, he's a troll from Alternia. Specifically, the very last days of Alternia. He kinda sorta started the apocalypse by playing a video game with his friends.
Yeah.Sorry about that, guys.
Karkat's a mutant like Signless--who he's actually descended from, sort of--which means he doesn't have a place in the rigid blood color-based caste system either. Unlike Signless, he actually has had a normal(ish) troll upbringing thanks to some secret cultist that he has absolutely no idea exist. I'm actually taking him from a relatively early canon point in the comic: he and his friends have just had their shiny new universe taken away by a demonic dog-thing and I'm having him snatched up by the Capitol instead of an Aradiabot.
Anyway! Karkat will eventually be in District One (swank!) and he managed to score an eight (definitely respectable!) from the gamemakers. You can read his app here. I am really look forward to playing with each and every one of you guys--this game has such a great cast of characters!
