Arena 04 - Week Two Death Toll

Something about this place is off. Your character can feel it. The headaches, the nausea. Some have it worse than others. Some may slowly piecing together why this may be, others may just be scared this is only going to lessen their chance at survival. Nightly the anthem plays and the faces of the fallen are projected into the sky.




Over the past few days, the few faces may have been familiar to your character, others, complete strangers. The most recent anthem to play however, comes with a brief announcement from Claudius Templesmith, the legendary Hunger Games announcer.

Tributes. There has been a slight change in the game and we have decided to introduce another tribute to the Arena. Howard Bassem is not currently associated with any district and we encourage everyone to welcome him into the game properly.

One last face is briefly displayed in the sky so that everyone can get a good look at the newest arrival.



WEEK TWO DEATH ROLLS.
The following tributes have been randomly selected, and will die within the next few days of the arena. Players are encouraged to use this post to plot out deaths however they like!

All characters above may be "bought" out of their death by another player for the price of 100 Credits. All these prices will double each week (i.e. what costs 10 credits now will become 20 next week, then 40, then 80, etc). Players without enough credits are allowed to pool credits from other players, so long as it has been discussed by all parties. Please be sure that you leave a comment to this post so that the mods can be aware of what you are planning.

CAPITOL NEWS.
The snow has finally stopped, most of it even melted now that the sun has returned and the days seem warmer. But there does seem to be a strange sense of loss and sadness around. No one has seen or heard from Finnick Odair since the opening of the new Arena and this seems to have broken several hearts. A popular morning radio host has spent at least two hours of air time crying over him, publicly.

Howard would be liable to take any of her stuff if he's in the area when she dies or is too weak to defend herself. Would you be interested in threading the latter?

Given that people are presumably no longer engaging in a blood bath around the cornucopia, Howard's probably going to stick to the building if he can, making trips out to get fresh water and hunting birds. He's not a very aggressive type, but he will probably try and set traps of finding poisonous plants and leaving them amongst patches of edible plants, hoping someone carelessly eats them by accident.

Is anyone interested in playing out an encounter?

Minatsuki will probably recognise the poisonous plants since she had a similar idea herself - so that could be interesting!

For reference, she's mostly been hanging around the cornucopia, but might wander into the forest after she gets sick.

She'll also be doing her best to fight back, since she has a bo staff now and all - she also doesn't know that she'll come back to life afterwards. So. Yeah. That'd be interesting. Ideas, anyone?

Hmm! :|a Since he's small and unarmed, he's probably going to try and avoid an actual confrontation, so he might run or get trapped up a tree or something. How aggressive is she?
