Events
Mother May I
It is Day six. Capitol scientists and engineers have been working around the clock to fortify the inner city, the Capitol's most closely guarded territory. As the enemy closes in, a shimmering forcefield flashes up through the air, erecting a dome over this final Arena. The generators have been erected in closed off locations with a detail of Peacekeepers at each site. For this war to end, the forcefield must be brought down. Having come this far, victory is almost within your grasp. Will you seek out and sabotage the generators themselves? Or will you fight through the firewalls and security to deactivate the field from the inside? Whatever you choose, the Capitol will be throwing every dirty trick they can your way.

What Time Is It Mister Wolf
The Gamemaker, Sigma Klim, had done his duty for the Capitol and Rebellion both. Unfortunately, only one side knows he's been helping them and his alliances have been left tenuous at best in many cases. An assassination has been called for, despite the protests of his few allies. But how do you defeat a man with infinite time?

(This is a personal plot with Sigma's character. Please see the plotting page for details and who will/can be involved.)

Pods & Traps
Bird Cages
Whether it's above ground or below, the sound of scraping concrete and grinding gears is never a good sign. Neither is the way that walls slide shut, closing off the way forward and preventing any retreat. Anyone caught inside these traps might find themselves at the mercy of boiling liquid, machine gun fire, crushing walls, or something more predatory... It would be in their best interest to find cover if they can, before the second phase of this trap is unleashed.

Muttations
Arobochnids
Not all of the Capitol mutts are flesh and blood. Some are creations of metal and fluid, many-legged and dangerous. These machines are arachnid in nature, supporting bulbous metal bodies with spindly metal legs that house the power to punch through concrete at high velocities--or the torso of their nearest victim. The barbs on these powerful legs make it possible for these machines to climb virtually any surface and puncture any barricade. Where a head might be on a normal spider, there is only a hole covered by triangular pieces of metal, which slide back to reveal the screeching hum of a buzzsaw.

HOW THIS WORKS: Thank to the Games Insurance plan, everyone, even 4th wall-ers have 200 points. Getting rolled before the eighth round halts progress regardless, but HOW that progress is halted depends on if you're willing to pay up the points! This is all based on the war motives you supplied last week. If you pay forward, your result will be the one in brackets. If not, you take what you get! Once the character's progress has been halted, you are free to have them "escape" capture or heal their injury soon after and continue participating. Your endgame can be whatever you wish to make it!

If you contributed to the Games Insurance plan, your character gets one free hideout and one of any of the other items available for purchase.

Sponsorship Programme.
By our [always accurate and never at all leaked from inside sources] calculations, the above war survivors are presently at the most risk of death. If not sponsored by the end of the week, these survivors will find that status a lot more difficult to retain. Any and all of those wishing to offer aid must be willing to gamble. 200 Credits isn't too much to turn threats the other way, now is it?

Any Rebels or Capitolites who don't get aid in time?

Sorry. We tried.

We would like to remind you however, that saving someone from the dark grip of death isn't the only thing people can offer. Around the city, items can be found. Get these items while you can. There may not be anything to scavenge them later.
