What has happened to them recently?: Kurloz had Meulin brainwashed with him for their "safety". Rebellion has broken out and Kurloz does not like it. His brother was almost reaped and he lost his shit despite not seeing his family in actual years. I'd also like more villain friends just as much as I'd like some people who would actually care about him enough to realise something's up.
