Mini Arena 4 Sign-ups
Sign ups for the next mini-arena!
This arena is open to all Tributes-- and Mentors as well! It will be a race of survival with influence from every single arena ever made within the quell. This mini arena will last, IC, for five days. It will be the last big event for a little while save for one just before the final arena.
We are going to have multiple winners once again, and a split mini Victor party for those victorious.
Tributes will be reaped entirely without their knowledge and forced into the arena. If you play a Mentor character and are interested in jumping into the Redux Mini Arena, please be sure to check out the following information and sign up there. There is no limit on the number of Tributes or Mentors who can participate in this arena! Just be sure to sign up before Thursday, August 6th!
More info will be given on the arena closer to the date.
Mentor Sign Ups
For this mini arena Mentors (whether native or not) can participate in this upcoming arena. HOWEVER there are some rules:
➳ Rule #1.) Mentors can be reaped, chosen, of simply volunteer for the chance.
If chosen, the Capitol will be forcing your character to pretend they want to participate. They do not actually have to want this, but their public face must act about it as if this is what they really want to do, that they missed getting in on the action, etc. To be chosen, your character must have displayed some rebellious behavior, even if it is simple dissent. It will be a punishment, but your character will be made to pretend it isn't. Otherwise, they may not be saved...
➳Rule #2.) They are not "coming back to life" in the way the other Tributes are. The Capitol is planning (hoping) to just swoop in and grab them right before their injuries are too critical to save, and then patch them back up a la 75% dead Peeta in the first book. Their heart will still beat and the brains will still be functioning, but they will be unable to complete the arena due to whatever reason. Do not thread your character actually dying, because the Capitol is not bring non-offworlders back if they die.
This further means that damage will be lasting, so if you want that, go for it. If you do not, don't let them have a leg bitten clean off when they "die." It will also mean that, although OOC their living is promised, in character they would be fully aware they might die for good.
HOWEVER if your Victor was an offworlder, this rule does not apply. They can be brought back just as they used to be and any inuries received or changes done between their last revival and this arena will be erased.

Score: I'm pretty sure he got re-scored as a 5 somewhere. He's killed before, knows the Arena drill, and is an accomplished swordsman...but his right arm was never properly healed from his Arena, handicapping his effectiveness somewhat.

Score: Derek was a Career Tribute, and he's spent the vast majority of his time between his game and now running through every training scenario available as many times as he can. He's smart, strong, fast, has excellent survival skills, has killed before and will definitely kill again without hesitation, and has a built in alliance. ...so essentially, he's even more of a Career Tribute now than he was during his first arena. I'd say maybe an 11?

Score: Peggy has had the training schedule of an Olympian for the last ten years and has obsessively perfected her skills in all the stations available in the Training Center. That and the fact that she's willing to kill with near impunity leaves her around an 11. She's a very popular Victor and is favored by the Capitol for her subservience and conformity, so they might bump her to a 12, but that's up to you guys.

Score: Chuck was a Career Tribute, and since then he's spent probably way too much time going over training scenarios one after the other until he has it right. Since his game he's both actually grown up and developed a larger mastery with not only his weapon of choice (a spear) and hand to hand. He's brutally efficient, strong, and fast, and has no hesitance when it comes to killing someone. As he's already survived an Arena, and spent it hunting down and killing other tributes without remorse, he knows exactly what it is asking of him. He won't hesitate in this arena either. In addition, he has a built in alliance in the form of Derek, and as such is much more of a classic Career tribute than he was before. I'd say 11.
