That'd be great! It might be best for Mariko's first encounter to be with someone who doesn't try to kill her right way (even though I do want her to die soon-ish).

Fair warning, though: She will glue herself to Sabriel. I'm all up for this if you are alright with having Mariko following her all around the arena and such.
