Arena Update.

Wow, that's a lot of dead people this week, huh? I bet you think this arena is almost over. Well don't get your hopes up, Tributes. There's a fresh batch of your kind coming into the arena right now, so don't rest on your laurels just yet. Get out there and show the newbies how we do things in Panem.

Capitol Update.

There was a public memorial for beloved victor Finnick Odair this week. His tragic passing is incentive for those Tribute scientists to finally find a damn cure for whatever is plaguing the Capitol! No, seriously! Get cracking before people start dropping like flies!

Eponine has caught this plague from Jessica, so she's drifting aimlessly about the Capitol feeling rather ill, if anyone wants to cheer her up.

She's also technically homeless, since Jess chucked her out of the suites . She 's been hanging out with Mindy a bit, but sleeping in a dumpster round the back of the Tribute Tower mostly in an effort not to give anyone else the cold. She's desperate for a way back in and for people to mollycoddle her a little bit and look after her.

She's still really mad about Ian and absolutely furious that Finnick has a public funeral but that the Capitol won't even acknowledge her demand for Ian's body to say goodbye .

So basically, I have no plans for Epsy as yet!

Edward Nygma

Fresh meat coming in, and immediate death unless someone (or multiple someones) bails him out. I an fine with it either way. I'll probably get up an open post sometime tonight or tomorrow with a couple different locations/scenarios. If anyone is interested in bumping into him...

or killing him...

let's talk! If you're looking for your character to die, we could also arrange a possible crude death trap for your character to wander into. Eddie is (at least) decent at pulling those together.

I still have to put up a backdated open post from popping back up in the Capitol and dealing with the emotional fallout of getting killed, but that's more last week than this week.

Other than that, I don't have any plans for her at the moment other than giving Dr. Norton the Hardest Slap Ever the first time she sees him after he gets killed in the arena, training, and coffee talk with Harley. So feel free to come at me with ideas! :D

Well I only have Loki in the Arena right now (my others are dead), but I am more than happy to toss him at her. He's got the capacity to make it as bad, or as...fast as needed.

If you have a preference, I can toss some ideas to you.

It should definitely be a little bad, though. I want Helena to see how out of her element she is here. (I mean, she's aware, but there's nothing like a little death to give a girl clarity.)

No preference as to how she goes, but I'm certainly open to ideas. What did you have in mind?

Gannicus (available for deathing people up)

That thing with the zombie loved ones was a dick move, Games makers. Gannicus's cool is severely damaged after having a visit from a woman Gannicus knows is very, very dead (mainly thanks to him and the affair he was having with her behind his best friend's back) so he is angry. He is still eating and drinking Arena food so that's also not helping things. Gannicus is out for blood and his partnership with his fellow Team Hair member Nasir has become a tad strained of late. It's unlikely you will get a civil conversation with him (unless you are Sabriel, he still owes you big time).

Ever the showman, Gannicus can do spectacularly bloody deaths for anyone who needs them! I will be taking a hiatus on Tuesday for a week so as long as you are okay with backtags then hit me up.

Zombie Clementine and Bucky the Tackling Amnesiac Assassin

Zombie Clementine is still around and feel free to have your character spot her from afar! I'm still offering her as a means of killing characters to those interested.

MCU!Bucky Barnes is now in the arena and I'd love to start getting him some CR. So far in plans he'll be killing Sirius Black this week and stalking round grumpily from seeing that Steve died before encountering 616!Bucky for an almost fight to the death. He'll probably be more approachable after that while he recovers >.>;

Kevin and Rosalind Lutece

Kevin is going to be completely losing his mind at this point. On top of everything else, his "mother" is going to be with him, and he's going to be absolutely RABID about defending her until the last necessary moment. When she dies, that will be the last straw before he goes completely delirious.

If anyone wants to be killed by Kevin this week, I am game - but I am also game for some other CR, if anyone wants to be sympathetic to the poor guy.

Rosalind is also going to be pretty destroyed by seeing "Robert." She will have convinced herself that he's feeling illness from dimension-hopping - which has been known to happen before - and will be desperately protective of him, trying to bring him back to "sanity."

I'm going to post a log about this, if anyone wants to jump in - but if anyone wants her ANYWHERE ELSE, please hit me up! I haven't gotten to do enough with her yet! I'm fine with both chat and/or Rosa killing your character.

Mariko has just arrived to the arena She is hiding somewhere and dealing with exhaustion already from all the running. If you want an easy kill go for it! She is harmless like a baby. I'm also open to any other kind of plotting! Want to meet her? Help her and form an alliance with her? In any case, there'll be screaming and crying.

I'd really like to toss Cos at him again if it wouldn't be too soon or Steve wouldn't be avoiding him like the plague. Although Rokk'll probably be even more of an ass since he's realised he perma-deathed a former teammate in the arena so if you'd rather not have to deal with that I totally get it.

I zonked like right after replying 8D

I can't see him jumping anyone, because he will play it smart, so he probably follows, approaches her all non-threatening-like before immediately going full Loki and sparking a fight.

I know her well enough to know that she is going to get some nice hits in on him so I fully intend to not let him walk away unscathed. There's no way he would. lol

So, one thought that has crossed my mind is that during the fight they could end up near a house or something solid, and he could get her backed into that during the fight and...use something he picked up from the arena (a rock/brick) and use that as like the killing blow.

I'm thinking before he does, as well, ...he will tell her that it is "Nothing personal", and he definitely would want to talk to her post arena, as well.

Loki does not know people come back, and really does not want to die. She would probably, appearance wise, look JUST threatening enough to him for him to try and...kill her.

So even if he does not (though I am totally offering for that) I would also love for him to try and do it at the very least!

Bucky Barnes (616)

Since Steve died near the end of last week, and Natasha has been dead for a while now, Bucky is kind of at a loss. He'll still be doing his best to protect other people, but he'll be more reckless and self-destructive about it than before. So the possibility of him getting killed is there, although it would be difficult, as he's stubborn and fights really hard when it's ultimately about survival.

He will at some point this week be getting into a fight with his MCU counterpart which will leave him pretty drained, so it's possible that someone could pick him off after that.

Finally, I've been pretty slow with tags, so if anyone wants to handwave something to do with an on-going thread, I'm up for it, and I'll try to keep up with things better this week.

Sabriel's unlikely to kill Mariko unless it's a mercy kill, but I'm up for her meeting up with Mariko and protecting her for a bit/explaining that death isn't permanent.
